The Roots Of Dubstep

After six years of underground incubation, 2006 is the year dubstep blew up, taking this fresh south london sound and exploding it worldwide. Elevated by anthems like Skream’s ‘Midnight Request Line’ and Digital Mystikz ‘Neverland’, the scene has witnessed high profile showcases on Radio 1 and rammed club nights like DMZ and Forward>>.
The explosion of interest in the sound has left many stunned new fans asking "where did dubstep come from?"...
