Rusko - Action Dread

The most talked about producer of the moment returns for more dub wise Dubstep. The first Action Dread, inspired by Rusko’s London borough, kicks off with a summertime digi-dub bounce. hypnotic flutes and wailing vocals give way to a pulsing sub bass, reggae shuffles and catchy themes, showcasing the dub-style production that’s made Rusko a favourite of DJ's like Skream and Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank. Listen carefully for London underground announcements lurking in the background of the tune! Flipping over we see Rusko on remix duties for local boy Caspa. This tongue in cheek refix sees Rusko adding his trademark trance sytnths and bumpy sub bass to the lilting Japanese flute melodies, space age effects and jungle percussion.
