If you don’t already know – get to know, a pioneer in dubbed out breakbeats from the late 1980s – his knowledge on the buttons is rivalled by few and has guided him to a status of underground heroism. ‘Kingfisher’ sets the pace with its on point half-step rhythm, driven by a slithering bassline that moves like a hypnotised snake rising from a basket, entranced by its own melody.
