Kudos And Soundproof - The City EP

This is the second release from Soundproof recordings, following on from the Soundproof e.p. which came out at the end of last year and the low end dubs e.p. on Boka records. This is a dubstep e.p. from west london producers. its been getting air play from many of the scenes dj's (N-type, D1, Heny g, and distance to name a few) and has been tearing down raves such as DMZ and subloaded. The first tune, b-town, is inspired by life in my home town and has a gritty whining synth intro that builds and builds until it drops with an explosive force to reveal the monster track that it is. a good opener for any dub set. No mans land is also a weighty track that has been vibrating dancefloors getting great reception from the dubstep crowd and also from the grime crowd. There is a massiver sub bass that creeps along from the ambient flute intro, the track has a nice sense of space to it which is why mc's are also interested in this tune. Theres a party featuring Skelly, Skelly is a reggae artist from Kingston jamacia. We hooked up on this dub tune to give a fresh take on the sound. Getting played in various scenes from dubstep to grime and from reggae dj's. The tune has an uplifting party vibe that makes people want to dance, the sub is very deep and put with the guitar plucks that come in and out of the track makes for a great bubbler of a track. This one is for people of all ages and taste.
